Students run riot after being expelled for molestation

first_imgGurugram: It was a scene of mayhem at a government school in Sohna on the outskirts of Gurugram after a group of students and their friends began pelting stones and destroying the school property.The entire incident transpired after seven students were expelled for molesting a girl from 11th standard. Not happy with the act, they called their relatives and began the circle of violence causing injuries to teachers and the passerby. What made the matter worse was the retaliatory attack by other students that further resulted in more injuries to the people outside and inside the school premises. As of now, the Sohna police has arrested seven people in the case and also detained others in the cases of rioting. The police have also formed a team to find out who else was involved in the violence and the destruction of the public property. Meanwhile, all those who have been injured have been admitted to the nearby hospitals for treatment. Those who have sustained severe injuries have been referred to Gurugram facilities. Being angry about what had happened to them they informed their friend and relatives and began destroying the public property.
