Share Tweetcenter_img 213 Views   2 comments Share One man who was hospitalized late Wednesday afternoon following a vehicular accident which occurred under the Canefield cliff involving three vehicles has been treated and discharged.Gerald Shillingford the driver of a blue Toyota double cab van registration #85 sustained injuries after a major collision yesterday afternoon.Police spokesman inspector John Carbon in his report to Dominica Vibes News said the collision occurred when a white Mitsubishi Nativa registration #PM 222 overtook another vehicle about 5:10pm.“A white Mitsubishi Nativa registration # PM 222 which was being driven by Eddie Beaupiere was travelling north along with other vehicles under the Canefield cliff. It overtook a blue Mitsubishi single cab van registration #PE 062 which was being driven by Fagan Bannis who was also travelling in a northern direction,” he reported.According to inspector Carbon, this caused two vans to collide causing severe damages to the vehicles. “In so doing, PM 222 lost control and collided with a blue Toyota double cab van registration # 85 which was being driven Gerald Shillingford in a southerly direction. After the collision the Toyota van registration #85 lost control and collided with the Mitsubishi single cab registration number PE062”.Gerald Shillingford sustained minor injuries as well as a passenger on PE 062.
