Looking at the destinations, most overnight stays in the mentioned period were realized in Zagreb, Opatija, Poreč, Rovinj, Dubrovnik and Split. Most overnight stays were realized from the markets of Croatia, Austria, Slovenia, Germany and Italy. According to the data of the eVisitor system, which contains tourist traffic realized in the commercial and non-commercial segment and nautical charter, in Croatia during the Christmas and New Year holidays, ie in the period from December 20, 2019 to January 6, 2020, it was realized 238 thousand arrivals i 621 thousand overnight stays, which compared to the same period last year represents an increase of 8 place in arrivals and overnight stays. Looking at the counties, most overnight stays on the coast were realized in Istria, Kvarner and Split-Dalmatia County, while on the continent most overnight stays were realized in Zagreb, Krapina-Zagorje and Međimurje counties.
