Significant sales breach the $1m barrier

first_img34 Lawnton St, Daisy HillTHE Albert and Logan area has chalked a number of significant property sales in recent weeks with a couple breaching the million dollar mark.CoreLogic figures reveal a luxurious four-bedroom home at 34 Lawnton St, Daisy Hill, sold for $1.325 million on June 16.The home was nestled beside the Daisy Hill Conservation Park close to Lake Dennis Park. It was listed through Nathan Strudwick of Elders Real Estate.Another big sale chalked up in recent weeks was a five-bedroom home at 6 Kettniss St, Underwood, which changed hands for $1.03 million on June 12.It was marketed through Zora and Michael Liu of LJ Hooker – Sunnybank Hills.More from newsDigital inspection tool proves a property boon for REA website3 Apr 2020The Camira homestead where kids roamed free28 May 2019The home is described as being like a private resort with living areas focused around a central alfresco area.Recent auction results in the area have also been solid, with a home at 45 Mortlake Cres, Boronia Heights, selling for $432,000.The sale was made on June 9 after being marketed by Kevin Loquias of LJ Hooker Browns Plains.He described the four-bedroom home in its listing as one of the largest in the suburb.CoreLogic figures reveal there were 5138 houses sold in the Logan local government area in the year to March and the median house price was an affordable $400,000.The median house price in the area has gone up by 2.5 per cent in the past 12 months.There were 1191 unit sales during the same period with the median unit price at $253,000.last_img
